Information for Schools

the school offer

Randstad Education is offering schools the chance to send a staff member to volunteer in Ghana for a three-month period with VSO and will provide schools with a supply teacher for the three months, free of charge, to take the volunteer's place. This allows schools to support the career development of their teachers as well as gaining from the skills they bring back, in a way that is financially viable for them.

what schools need to do

Schools will need to provide the appropriate support for staff wanting to make an application. Early in the process the applicant will need a letter of approval from their school in order to progress their application so head teachers will need to be prepared to provide this approval. It might also be a good opportunity to proactively suggest this as an option for your high performers as a part of their ongoing career development.
