Randstad Education is working in colaboration with Jackpot Training to deliver innovative, creative and informative theatre-in-education projects and workshops relating to a number of social issues including alcohol, drug use, internet safety and sexual health.
‘Rated’ is a play and workshop produced by Jackpot Training and created in collaboration with pupils from Longford Community School, Hounslow Extended Services and PSHE co-ordinators. The production covers learning outcomes for SRE as recommended by OfSTED and aims to educate young people about subjects such as: safer sexual behaviour; developing assertiveness to resist 'beat & delete'; tolerating different family types; useful tips for safe surfing – along with tackling homophobic bullying and showing the consequences of early sexual activity.
‘Smashed’ is a hugely successful play and workshop created in association with Ealing & Newham DAATs and the Met Police. Devised with the help of young people and produced by Jackpot Training, it covers issues including; the physical and social harms of alcohol misuse; hidden harm (parental alcohol misuse); sexual health; binge drinking; hidden drinking in Asian communities and much more.
