Teaching Assistant

Sixth form college is seeking to appoint dynamic, hard working teaching assistants on a long term supply basis. The ideal candidate must be able to support 16- 19 year old students in their learning while they study for vocational qualifications. A good understanding of SEN, good interpersonal skills, communication skills and numeracy and literacy skills are essential. A background in equestrian studies, construction, hair and beauty or an understanding of NVQ vocational courses would be beneficial to your application.

All applicants must meet Randstad Education's strict recruitment criteria and hold an enhanced Criminal Record Bureau Disclosure. Experience of working with teenagers for a period of more than 3 months is essential and you must be able to provide references to account for your experience.
