Various Secondary Schools are seeking to appoint dynamic, hard working teaching assistants on a long term supply basis from September. The ideal candidate must be able to support pupils with special educational needs in a mainstream setting. You will be based in the SEN department and offer 1 to 1 and group support in the classroom. A good understanding of SEN, good interpersonal skills, communication skills and numeracy and literacy skills are essential.
All applicants must meet Randstad Education's strict recruitment criteria and hold an enhanced Criminal Record Bureau Disclosure. Experience of working with teenagers for a period of more than 3 months is essential and you must be able to provide references to account for your experience. We welcome applications from candidates who have taught English overseas or have coordinated arts workshops or have worked in schools as part of their University's Student Associate Scheme.
