Description

The Job
We are currently seeking a qualified teacher of Biology to teach pupils at both KS3 and KS4. This is an initial assignment commencing 19th April till the 17th May. Applicants must be qualified teachers with QTS.

The School
The school seeks to realise the potential of each pupil. They provide challenge, encourage initiative, promote teamwork and develop leadership capabilities. It is their aim that students leave the School as self-confident young people equipped with the knowledge, skills and attributes that will allow them to lead a happy and fulfilled life and to make a difference for
good in the wider community.
They do this through offering:
• a rich and stimulating educational experience which encompasses
academic, extra-curricular and social activities
• a supportive and industrious learning environment for pupils selected
on academic potential, irrespective of means and background.

The Child
Pupils can attend the School from birth through to eighteen years of age. The 32 acre campus incorporates their family of schools - a co-educational nursery and infant school and single sex, junior and senior schools. The school believe that happy pupils learn better and they place great importance on settling new arrivals into a safe and secure school environment.

The school caters for different learning styles and prides itself on knowing when to push and when to reassure. There is much diversity within the student body and they value individual differences and personalities.
