Are you:
• - Eager to inspire and motivate students to achieve their potential?
- Someone who has high aspirations for students, is passionate about learning and can contribute new and creative ideas to students with SEN?
The skills we look for in our teachers include:
• - Enthusiasm to promote learning and demonstrate a positive outlook
• - Innovative and resourceful teaching methods
• - Flexible and adaptable approach to work at KS3 & KS4 for our SEN students with their varied curriculum pathway.
We are in a new-build school, which opened fully in September 2010, is state-of-the art, and designed to motivate and engage our learners. We have also had over £1m spent on ICT throughout. All teachers are issued with a brand new laptop, and we have a generous CPD commitment. We creatively design leadership and progression opportunities as part of our distributive leadership model for new and ambitious talent. Candidates are very welcome to visit the school - you will be impressed by the calm and purposeful learning in a hugely inspiring environment. Please call to make arrangements.
At our recent Ofsted inspection we were awarded "Good with some Outstanding features" (Sept 2011). We achieved 36% A*-C including English and Maths, and 80% A*-C. Our data and tracking shows we will exceed 40% in 2012 & 50% in 2013!
