Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) (Ref: SE413949)

Randstad Education are currently recruiting for an excellent opportunity for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (or HLTA) to cover for a sickness absence in an SEN unit attached to a Liverpool primary school. The post is full-time throughout the summer term. You will be expected to work closely with the class teacher, complementing their role though assisting and supporting them with individual children, small groups and the whole class where the assigned teacher is not present. The pupils may have a range of learning and communication difficulties. Previous experience of behaviour management and delivery of pre-planned lessons would be an advantage in this position. Applicants must hold as a minimum a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Teaching and Learning, and qualified HLTA status would also be desirable.
