Description

This large children's centre are looking for a qualified Nursery Nurse to join their busy team on a fixed term contract.
Main duties;
•You will be responsible for looking after children aged between 0 and 4 years
• You will supervise the children and also be responsible for their physical, emotional, social and intellectual needs
• You will begin to educate the child in terms of basic learning skills they will need
• You will encourage them to develop socially
• If you are working with very young children, you will be responsible for feeding, washing and changing them, and generally tending to their physical needs
• You must adopt a safe and protective role to the child, and be aware of any potential dangers around them
• You will need to plan and participate in activities to entertain and teach the child, e.g. Music, painting, reading etc.
• You will need to liaise with their parents and your surrounding team members, monitor progress, keep records and reports, and communicate any suggested improvements that can be made to help the child's development

You will need to;

•Be responsible, patient and caring
• Have an interest in child development
• Good communication skills
• Work well in a team
• Be creative
• Have the ability to observe, assess and report child's behaviour
• Enjoy working with kids
• Have a sense of humour and be fun!
