Description

ASD Support Worker

The Manchester Special Educational Needs Team require a Teaching Assistant for a local SEN High School. The children are of Secondary age and have difficulties with Emotional, Social and Behavioural Management. Many also have additional challenges such as having ASD, Dyspraxia and Dyslexia. The role will involve working on both a 1:1 basis and as a support to the entire class.

Ideally you will need the following

- Experience in working with disaffected young people
- The ability to assist children with various challenges
- An individual with a positive and motivational approach
- The ability to work as part of a team
- To have a creative personality

The position will be subject to two professional references and an enhanced CRB disclosure
