Our Registration Process
Once you have submitted your CV online, we will assess your
qualifications and experience. If you are suitable for work,
one of our consultants will be in touch either by phone or by
email to arrange for you to come in for an interview.
You will need to bring with you:
- Your CV (please see our 'CV writing tips'
section)
- Passport and driving licence (both your photocard and
paper counterpart)
- Undergraduate degree certification
- Any additional relevant certification (training
etc.)
- Proof of QTS and GTC membership
- Contact details for 2 referees (email addresses as well
if available)
- Your National Insurance number
- Your birth certificate
- Proof of change of name (if applicable, e.g. if you have
married)
- Bank details
- Details of your most recent Tetanus and Hepatitis
inoculations
- Proof of address (you will need 2 documents, each to be
no more than 2 months old)
- Your current CRB disclosure (if you have one) or your
chequebook if you need to apply for one (this costs
£36)
You do not need to bring passport photos of yourself,
however come prepared to have your picture taken as we will do
this at your interview.
The interview will last around an hour to an hour and a
half. We will go through your experience, your career
aspirations and also all the paperwork. At the end of the
interview, we will seek references and undertake a List 99
check, whilst arranging for your Enhanced Disclosure from the
CRB. This checking process will usually take a week or two. We
are unable to give you any assignments until all the checks and
references have come back clear.
Note for candidates who have spent time
abroad:
If, in the last five years, you have spent six months or more
living in another country, you must also supply us with a
police check or a certificate of good conduct from that country
to ensure the period spent outside of the UK is covered.
