SEN Teaching - Special Educational Needs Teachers
The nature of special needs means that there are many
opportunities in special needs support, typically for teaching
assistants. This means that even if you do not have qualified
teacher status, out consultants will still be able to search
for work on your behalf.
The government's 'inclusion' agenda means that you have many
opportunities to teach in mainstream as well as special needs
schools. The areas of SEN are huge and about the only thing
special needs children have in common is being labelled as
having special needs. In summary, special needs are broken down
into the following groups:
- cognition and learning behaviour
- emotional and social development
- communication and interaction
- sensory and/or physical needs
The important thing is that you let us know your
