Something can be described as accessible if people of all abilities are able to use it. Websites are made up of text, images, and other media so all of these aspects must be accessible to all. The types of disabilities that can affect a website are:
- Visual impairments - people who are completely blind or struggle to see text or the difference in colour contrast
- Physical impairments - people who find it difficult to use a keyboard or a mouse
