REC Accredited Induction Scheme
The Accredited Induction Scheme (AIS) was launched in 1990
by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) and is
designed to recognise the in-house induction training given to
new consultants where the training syllabus covered, dovetails
with the REC Certificate in Recruitment Practice.
Randstad Education is the first Education recruitment
consultancy that has successfully received formal accreditation
by the REC. Some of the key criteria which Randstad Education
must continue to meet as follows;
- Randstad Education must continue to offer a formal
structured induction training programme which dovetails with
the REC Certificate syllabus,
- Randstad Education must continue to employ a trainer who
has overall responsibility for the delivery of training and
the conduct of the REC examination, and
- Randstad Education must hold examinations at least every
six months in accordance with the REC guidelines.
Randstad Education has always been dedicated to the
development of our Education Consultants and the accreditation
of our induction training reinforces this message to our
clients and candidates. AIS assures clients of a consistent
service across our network of offices, whereby they can trust
Randstad Education to apply the same rigorous recruitment
standards every time, whether we are recruiting a teaching
assistant or a head teacher. In turn, we are able to provide
new recruits with an industry recognised qualification which is
important if we wish to continue to attract and retain the best
people.
